Update!

Journal Entry: Wed Sep 15, 2010, 4:54 PM

Hallo,

Soooo, once again, I sort of fail on the journal writing front, oh well. One of these days I'll get it down to some consistency. But yeah, just thought I'd write an update of stuff that has been going on.

The summer was pretty awesome, complete with a 3 week trip to Poland (my first time in Europe)! Many of the photos I have posted within the last month or so have been from that trip...and I am sort of just continuously editing different ones from that as time goes on.

I've now started my senior year (of high school...ohhh, fml). I'm taking AP Studio Photography, so hopefully that will force me to come up with some new, and exciting, products. The biggest difficulty for me right now is that I have to determine a concentration for my photography (required for submitting an AP portfolio). So, two things:
1) If anyone would be willing to go through my current gallery and see what kind of connections you can see throughout my photos, it would be awesome if you would let me know what you observe. Because as of now, I feel like my photography has been all over the place (mostly because of the nature of the different assignments for which I had to shoot them).
2) It would also be very helpful if, as I start to post more photos as the year goes on, if you could sort of be looking to see if you can tell what my concentration is. Sort of like a game, I guess? Except, really it would just help me know if I am adequately embodying what I'm hoping for.

Otherwise... I have my next assignment due next Wednesday, which I plan to shoot over the weekend, so be on the lookout for some new photos from that. And I'm going to be posting up a new feature soon too, it's been forever since I did one.

Ok cool :) That is sufficient for now.

Adiossss.

Hi there,
I’d like to welcome you to the #PortraitClub - glad to have you among our members :)
My name is Mike, I’m co-administrating the club with Lydia =Glasperlenspielerin - if you have any questions concerning submissions, the rules or just a general suggestion, don’t hesitate to let us know. You can always reach us on our private account or the club itself.

To get started I suggest to have a look at the club rules – you can find them on the front page and inside the main gallery (right column) – and maybe keep an eye on the club journal for ongoing contests, mini-competitions, features and news on the club.
If you like to give critique and in-depth comments you might be interesting in joining our Critique Squad, dedicated to provide help and suggestions to declined submissions.

Don’t be afraid to have a look around and let us know if you need anything ;)
See you at :iconportraitclub:

Kind regards,
Mike
